Peanut Butter Biscuits

Share

I have another treat recipe to share! This one is also made with peanut butter. 😋

🐾 First, preheat your oven to 350o Fahrenheit. Next, gather your ingredients.

Your Ingredients are:

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup water

🐶 You will also need a mixer, rolling pin, cookie cutters (dog treat shape if you want), measuring cups and spoons, cookie sheet, and cooking spray. A couple of extra items you might want to use are a fork, second egg, and pastry brush.

🐾 Blend all your ingredients in the list above together in the mixer for about two minutes. They will form a sticky dough.

🐾 Flour your counter so the dough doesn’t stick to your counter. Then, place your dough in the center of the floured counter. Flour your rolling pin and roll out your dough.

🐾 Once your dough is about a 1/4 inch thick, cut out your first round of biscuits. Grease your cookie sheets. Then place your treats on the sheet to bake. Continue rolling the leftover dough out and cutting more treats until the dough is all gone.

🐶 An extra step here: If you want to you can take your fork and lightly poke the biscuit to add a cool design to the biscuits. (Eg. In photo) Then, whip your extra egg with the fork and wash gently brush the biscuits with the egg. This will give the treats a golden brown finish.

🐾 After all the treats are cut out they are ready to go in the oven. Bake them for 15-20 minutes at 350o Fahrenheit.

🐾 Once they are golden brown let them cool on the pan. Cooled treats are ready to be enjoyed by your pup! Store in a sealed container. They will last from one to two weeks at room temperature. If frozen they will stay fresh up to a month.

Lucy was supper excited to eat hers! 😋🤤
