Adoption Process

I am concidering a third litter for Lucy when she is ready. If you are intersted in waiting on one of her puppies let me know by filling out the questionare. If I chose to I would reach out to confirm before breeding her. You would be able to see puppy profiles here!

Step One

If you are interested in a puppy, please review the "What to Expect When Caring for a Golden Retriever" to understand what it takes to own a dog. Please do your research.

Step Two

After checking that you are ready for a puppy, fill out the "Prospective Puppy Owner Questionnaire" online here.

Step Three

If approved, I will send you the puppy contract for you to review. Please review it and let me know what questions you have. If all makes sense we are ready for the next step.

Step Four

We are ready to schedule an appointment to visit the puppies. If you are out of state, this can be a FaceTime or Zoom call. This is so you can see where the puppies have been raised and meet me. Current appointments made via email or texts.

Step Five

After or during your visit, when you are ready, you can choose an available puppy and put down a deposit of $500, reserving your puppy until they are ready to be picked up! I accept deposits by cash, Venmo, Apple Pay, or PayPal.

Step Six

Pick up your puppy! We will set the time when you place your deposit. During puppy pick-up, the remaining balance is due ($2,000). You will get a puppy care package to help you and your puppy get a head start on your new adventure. I will also have you fill out the AKC registration form and have your puppy's name decided so we can complete the form. I will send this in when all the puppies have gone home, and you will receive their registration form in the mail.
