About Me
Hi there! I’m Kaitlyn. Ever since I was a baby, I’ve been drawn to dogs. My first word was “dog”. We had a husky named Shadow. After he passed away when I was four, we adopted Diamond. She was another husky since I was attached to the breed. When I turned seven, I made a deal that I would care for the dogs if we could keep one of Dimond’s puppies. I named the puppy Gallop. She would always “gallop” to me when I visited the puppies. Eleven years later, we now have three dogs. Diamond has since passed away. And now we have Gallop (border collie/husky, 11 years old), Moose (lab/husky, five years old), and Lucy (golden retriever, 11 months old).
In this blog, I will post different recipes I have tried that my dog loves. I will record various helpful tips and tricks for all things dog-related. I will also do my best to address all the different doggie difficulties I have faced with my three hounds and the solutions I discovered. I hope to share any experience or information I can to help other dog lovers out! Nothing is worse than having a problem and not knowing where to find the answers. I hope that you can look here for reliable and simple solutions. If you have a difficulty that you would like me to look in, comment it below, and I will see what I can find out. (2021)
Update (2023): I am hijacking this blog to use as a platform for my small dog breeding business! I hope that you all enjoy following along! We are a small family breeder in Fort Mill, South Carolina, just outside Charlotte. Lucy is currently my only breeding female. I have wanted to raise puppies for a very long time. After much time learning, I have begun raising Lucy’s first litter of puppies. I have thus far used Lucky as my stud, which a different breeder owns. We have two other sweet dogs who are strictly pets. We live on 3 acres where the dogs are exposed to many children. Lucy has gone through extensive testing before breeding. She has had OFA hips, elbows, and eye testing done. Her pups come with AKC registration papers, a puppy packet, one month of AKC pet insurance, a vet check, deworming, and the first round of vaccines. I am a long-term dog lover and desire to breed healthy goldens that will grow into fantastic pets! We can’t wait to find Lucy’s pups their forever homes. It will be hard to part with these sweet little ones! If you have questions, please get in touch with me at [email protected]
